Oconee Schools Dismissing Early

SDOC Weather Statement:

A winter weather advisory has been issued for portions of Upstate South Carolina due to possible freezing temperatures, snowfall and widespread black ice. Due to potentially hazardous driving conditions during normal dismissal time, SDOC will dismiss middle and high schools at 1:00pm.  Elementary schools will dismiss at 1:45pm.  In addition, all after school activities including YMCA child care programs, have been cancelled. Stay tuned to the district website and social media accounts this evening for a decision about tomorrow.  As always, our top priority when making weather related decisions is the safety of our students and staff.
