Oconee mayors want no change in State District One

Four Oconee municipal mayors support the re-election this year of Bill Whitmire, the state’s District One member of the House of Representatives. A letter above the names of the mayors of Salem, Walhalla, West Union, and Westminster reads:  “For 24 years, Bill has been an unwavering champion for our cities and towns.  His legislative effectiveness is not just a matter of record; it is woven into the very fabric of our communities. From securing critical infrastructure to protecting local government authority and advocating for public education, Bill has consistently listened to our needs and delivered tangible results.”
