Oconee included in an updated transportation plan

Thirty Oconee intersection improvements are included in an updated regional transportation plan, according to a planner with a government service agency headquartered at Greenville.  Lance Estep of the SC Appalachian Council of Governments said the long-range plan was updated in October.  Across the counties that border I-85, a total of 80 intersection projects were identified.  As far as Oconee is concerned, a focus will be 123 – the Seneca-Clemson corridor – which has been bandied about at such local meetings as the county council and the county’s planning commission.
