Oconee company to sink $10 million into expansion

ACI Plastics is making plans for a $10 million expansion to its Oconee County operations, on the Sandifer Boulevard.  The company is a thermoplastics processor and re-cycler and will partner with re-cyclables manager PreZero.  For more than 30 years, ACI Plastics has been known for its separation technologies for paint removal, instrument panels, electrostatic and optical separation.  PreZero builds and operates facilities that convert organic waste, plastics and paper into valuable raw materials and commodities.  The expansion at 2333 Sandifer Boulevard will include new machinery and equipment for plastic re-cycling.  The project is to be finished by April 2020.
