New planned development at Clemson

The public has a chance early next month to weigh-in on a plan for 24.5 acres adjoining Clemson.  The city council holds a hearing 5:30 pm Tuesday, July 5 at city hall on C. Todd Kennedy’s proposal to annex five parcels near Lawrence Road and develop the acreage as a planned development of residential and commercial uses.  Kennedy’s application calls for 105 multi-family cottages, 44 workforce townhomes, a restaurant/retail center, and the dedication of land to the city for a future park. Clemson invites public input on all matters associated with the proposal.
