New King banners to fly on Seneca street

A new set of banners drawing attention to the civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will fly on Seneca’s South Sixth Street. The banners, featuring a likeness of King along with sayings toward peace among the races, were displayed Friday during the city’s annual Black History Luncheon. Scott Moulder, city administrator, told the crowed he looks forward to the day when the banners fly.
