 A historic NASCAR track in North Carolina is planning a race that will honor late champion Kyle Busch later this summer.  Bowman Gray Stadium announced on July 16 that it would host the “Kyle Busch Invitational” on Friday, Aug. 21.  The quarter-mile track in Winston-Salem said the event honoring Busch would feature up to 51 legend cars and 18 bandolero cars — numbers the 2015 and 2019 Cup Series champion raced at points throughout his career.  All proceeds raised by the event will benefit the Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund.  Busch died suddenly on May 21 after pneumonia led to sepsis. He had just turned 41 years old only weeks earlier.
