Nancy Hyatt Lusk

 

Tamassee, SC –Nancy Hyatt Lusk, 79, wife of the late Ray S. Lusk, of Tamassee, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Lusk was the daughter of Ibera Collins Hyatt and the late Arthur L. Hyatt. She retired from Imperial Die Casting and was a member of Mt. Carmel #2 Baptist Church.

 

Along with her mother, Mrs. Lusk is survived by her son: Jason Keith Lusk (Robin); daughters: Sandy Lee and Lisa Lusk Heg; brothers: Manuel Hyatt, Clark Hyatt, and Lonnie Hyatt; sisters: Reba Rowland, Rachel Simpson, and Lillian Hyatt; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren with two on the way.

 

In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Lusk was preceded in death by her son: Ray Edward Lusk; and sons-in-law: Dennis Heg and Mike Wigington.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Mt. Carmel #2 Baptist Church.

 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
