More Industry to Come to Upstate SC

More industry is coming to upstate South Carolina.  Siemens Industry has announced plant to open an assembly and manufacturing plant in Greenville County.  The company has announced a 45,000 square foot facility will be located in Mauldin as part of the company’s Drives Technologies Division.  Doug Keith, President of Siemens Drive Technologies division says the new South Carolina facility will place the company and its products manufactured in South Carolina closer to machine builders and manufacturers in the Southeastern United States.  Governor Nicki Haley remarked, “It’s a great day in South Carolina when a world-class company like Siemens chooses to located new operations in our state.”
