Ronald Acuña Jr. has played in just 36 games in 2025, but that was long enough for fans to name him a starter for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game. Despite returning from a second ACL tear, Acuña has been a bright spot on a Braves team that is barely treading water. His .350 batting average, .467 OPS and .610 slugging percentage are career highs at the moment. Among players with 150 plate appearances, his 198 wRC+ is the best in the National League. Acuña was the only Braves player to make it to the second round of All-Star voting, but led all of the National League in total votes. It’s his fifth All-Star selection. The 27-year-old also plans to participate in this year’s Home Run Derby.
