Marijuana plants seized in Walhalla home

Oconee Sheriff’s Department announced drug charges this afternoon against a 52-year old Walhalla man. Working with Seneca and Walhalla police officers, county investigators say they seized money, weapons, and 67 marijuana plants yesterday from the Country Acres Road home of David Scott Foster. Investigators ascribe a street value of the marijuana seized as more than $134 thousand. Foster faces charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of marijuana, and manufacturing marijuana. Yesterday’s arrest was preceded, investigators say, by an undercover buy Friday at Foster’s home.
