Louise Pelfrey
Westminster – Mary “Louise” Burdette Pelfrey, 83, wife of the late Garnett Eugene Pelfrey, passed away Tuesday, January 12th, 2021, at Seneca Health and Rehab.
She was a native of Oconee County and was the daughter of the late Wilburn F. and Ira Bell Woods Burdette. Louise was a homemaker and member of Corinth Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Jean Clardy of Walhalla; brother, Rayford Burdette of Westminster; sister, Frances Davis of Walhalla; three grandchildren, Bradley Allen Peay, Bryan David Peay, Kaitlyn Brooke Smith; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Garnett Eugene Pelfrey, Louise is preceded in death by a son, Monty Franklin Pelfrey; brothers, William, Clayton, James, and George Burdette; sisters, Faye McClain, Genora Owen, Sue Collins, Ruth Dillard, and Annie Belle Jordan.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, January 14th, 2021, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. No formal visitation will be held.
