Linda Jones

Seneca – Linda Faye Hopkins Jones, 67, wife of Jimmy Vinson, passed away on Thursday, November 21^st, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

 

Born on November 12^th, 1957, in Seneca, South Carolina, Linda was daughter of the late Thomas Edwards and Carrie Mae Gibson Hopkins. Linda formerly worked as a home healthcare nurse.

 

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy; daughters, Jessica Morris (Shane), Amy Jones; step-children, Sherri Vinson Reece, J.R. O’Kelley; brother, Tony Hopkins; sisters, Darlene Webb, Margie McJunkin, JoAnne Hopkins; grandchildren, Caleb Black, Trey Morris, Hannah Lynn Boggs, Ciera Jones, Jaden Morris, Layla Holland, Ariana Taylor, Kayleigh Morris, Ada Morris; great-grandchildren, Anayla Prather, Alaysia Washington, Clarity Black, and Sovann Black.

 

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her brothers, Steve Hopkins, Tex Hopkins, Rory Hopkins; sisters, Betty Allgood, Beckie Smith; grandchildren, Zay Morris, and Paisley Morris.

 

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 27^th, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at First Baptist Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 27^th, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home, prior to the service.
