Liberty High School Coach Retires

The head football coach at Liberty High School announced his retirement Monday morning.  Paul Sutherland has been coaching the Red Devils for five seasons, leading the 2025 team to its best season in about a decade with a 8-4 record.  Liberty was knocked out of the playoffs in the second round last week, losing to Strom Thurmond.  Before his time at Liberty, Sutherland coached for 17 seasons at Pendleton before spending three seasons in Franklin County, Georgia.
