Lessie Rebecca Wooten

Seneca, SC— Lessie Rebecca Treadaway Wooten, 94, wife of the late Claude M. Wooten, of 333 Rodgers Road, Seneca, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018, at her home.

 

A native of Seneca, SC, Mrs. Wooten was the daughter of Paul T. and Pauline Burns Treadaway. She was a homemaker and a member of Snow Creek Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Wooten is survived by her daughters: Rebecca W. Powell (Pete) of Seneca, SC and Elaine W. Southern; grandchildren: Joey Powell, Sherrie Mahnken (Jeff), Rebecca “Angel” Powell (Jimi) and Shannon Foster; great-grandchildren: Abigayle Mahnken, Dre Foster, Harper and Ruby Powell-Peterson, Aldo and Alan Espinosa; and special friend and caregiver: Linda Seacrest, who has our love and thanks forever.

 

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wooten is preceded in death by her brother: Paul Denard; and sisters: Lodemia McLane, Kathleen Barker, Evelyn Burdette and Johnnie Mae Golden.

 

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 AM, Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Earle’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
