Lela Christine Norris Frost Eades Longwith

Lela Christine Norris Frost Eades Longwith, 75, wife of Donald Longwith, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Oconee Memorial Hospital with her son Michael Eades by her side.

Christine was the daughter of Jessie James Norris and Paris Holbrooks Norris. Christine was a former employee at J.P. Stevens and retired from Schlumberger after 25 years of employment to become a foster parent.

Christine loved to sew, loved planting flowers, going fishing with family, attend church, and loved taking care of children and her family.

Christine is survived by her husband, Donald Longwith; daughters: Zee Longwith (Nathan Hunt), and Shirley Dooley (Mike Dooley); sons: Dude Longwith and Michael Eades. Sisters; Lucille Cooper (David Cooper), Doris Blackwell (Wayne Blackwell), and Helen Blackwell (Billy Blackwell). Brothers; Jimmy Norris (Linda Norris). Grandchildren; Emily Frost (Andrew Belford) and Chris Dooley. Great Grandchildren; Oaklenn Frost- Belford, Amber Dooley, Prince Hendrix, Marleigh Rencher and Draxo Hunter.

Christine was preceded in death by her mother and father, Paris Holbrooks Norris and Jessie James Norris. Husbands; Herbert Frost, Lowell Eades. Son, Steven Frost. Sisters; Marie Kearley and Louise Richardson. Brothers; Bill Norris and Junior Norris.

A memorial service will be held at a later date per the family.

Memorial donations made be made to Donald Longwith or Michael Eades, at PO Box 877, Walhalla, sc 29691. The donations will go towards helping with final expenses and helping Christine’s adopted children, Zee and Dude Longwith with education and other needs.
