Larry Lewis Campbell

Seneca, SC— Larry Lewis Campbell, 72, husband of Marlene Moore Campbell, of Seneca, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at his home.

 

Born in Anderson, SC, Mr. Campbell was the son of the late William L. and Annie Brown Campbell. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed trading them and working on home improvements. He was a loving husband and father to three girls, always being so proud of his family. Mr. Campbell loved the Lord and strived to lead by example. He had a wonderful sense of humor and great laugh and was a quiet, humble man. His smile made you smile. Larry was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and served as a deacon.

 

Along with his wife of 53 years, Mr. Campbell is survived by his daughters: Lisa Jester (Brian), Angela Mackey (Christopher) and Danielle Garrett (Tim); sister: Eunice Williams (Phillip); brothers-in-law: Darrell Moore (Sherry, Sarah and Katie), Terry Moore (Matt, Jonathan and Courtney) sisters-in-law: Carol Ownbey (Christy, Carrie and Cynthia); and Sherri Lamb ( Josh and Aiden); cousins: Jimmy Campbell (Joni), Mike Campbell (Sandra), Rudy Campbell (Tammy), Andy Campbell and Debi Campbell; nieces: Elizabeth Anne Barnhardt (Ethan) and Victoria Brown (Paxton); and grandchildren: Kaleb and Jacob Jester, Jackson and Sophie Price, Carolina Powell, William, Hayston, Gray and Cal Garrett.

 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his grandmother: Ruby Campbell; grandfather: Henry Campbell; cousin: Hank Campbell; mother-in-law: Doris Moore; father-in-law: Vernon Moore; brothers-in-law: Ron Lamb, Jimmy Moore (Joyce) and Joe Ownbey; sister-in-law: Tracy Logan and her son: Allen; and a beloved grandson: Carter Powell.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.

 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Saturday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
