Kenneth Robert Porter

Salem, SC – Kenneth Robert Porter, 72, husband of Margaret Nichols Porter, of 150 Robbies Street, Salem, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

A native of Oconee County, Mr. Porter was the son of the late Arthur James and Faye Edna Moss Porter. He was retired from Inger-Soll Rand as a machine operator and was a member of Mt. Carmel #2 Baptist Church.

 

In addition to his wife, Mr. Porter is survived by his sons: Kenneth Robert Porter, Jr.; Robert Scott Porter; daughters: Stacey Dotson (Johnny); Kathey Duncan; Sharon Galloway and Tina Moss; grandchildren: Justin Duncan, Austin Chapman and Haileigh Chapman; great-grandchild: Paisleigh Grace Duncan; brothers: Randall Porter (Ginger), Rev. Frankie Porter (Ruth) and Douglas Porter (Ginger); and sisters: Wilma Burton (Jerry) and Sandra Porter.

 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Porter was preceded in death by his brothers: Larry Porter and Gerald Porter (Hazel).

 

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Mount Carmel #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.
