Kenneth Glenn

Kenneth Lee Glenn, 67, husband of Nancy Brock Fowler Glenn, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 5, 2022.  He had been in declining health for several years and was ready to go.

Kenneth was born on April 1st, 1955 to Theo Glenn and Lou Alice Cater Glenn.  He and Nancy shared 43 years as husband and wife, and had known each other long before they were married.  God blessed them with 5 beautiful children and many happy years together.

Kenneth was always a “people” person.  He enjoyed telling jokes and stories and making those around him laugh.  His hobbies included fishing, working on small engines, pitching horse shoes, going to flea markets and yard sales in search of “good deals”, and gardening.  He also made many precious memories going to the mountains and pic-nicking with our family.  When his health would no longer allow him to be busy outside, he still got great pleasure from spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He especially liked playing a game called 10,000 and spent many fun hours playing. He also collected quite a few movies through the years and watching them became a favorite past time.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father; 2 sisters, Joy Farrow and Brenda Glenn; son, Tim Glenn; and daughter Becky Glenn Dodd.

In addition to his wife and mother, Kenneth is survived by his loving children;  Ben Fowler (Jennifer), Brock Glenn (Sati), Brandi McDonald (Benny); and his son-in-law, Rob Dodd.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dylan, Harley, Samantha, and Christopher Glenn, Tristan and Skylar Fowler, Lexi Simpson, Brent Reliford and Bella Glenn; Kory Oxley, Isaiah and Rose Glenn, Emma, Charlie, Ian, Sophia, and Natalie McDonald; and 3 great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kinsley, Emery and 1 little one on the way (Timothy Axel).  Also surviving are his 4 always supportive brothers, Paul, Alan, Randy, and Mike Glenn; and his loving sister, Ellen Gambrell.  He also leaves behind a very special friend, Jerry Clardy, who has been as close as a brother for many years; and rambling, memory making partners, Terry and Dana Brock, and Noland and Joy Wriston.

Kenneth’s family wishes to express their heart felt thanks and appreciation to the Hospice of the Foothills Team that has been so caring and so much help in the past weeks.  Kenneth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family is at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kenneth’s memory may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, Attn.
