Kenneth Collins
Westminster – Kenneth Ray Collins, 64, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at his residence.
Born on September 18, 1961, in Seneca, South Carolina, Kenneth was the son of Evelyn Louise Cheek Collins Edwards (Jack Edwards) and the late Ray Collins. Kenneth worked as a truck driver for many years and loved life on the road. He was a member of Chauga Baptist Church, where he enjoyed the fellowship and friendships he found there. Kenneth loved watching NASCAR and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs every chance he got.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Nellie Ann Phillips Collins; his mother, Evelyn Louise Cheek Collins Edwards; daughters, Amanda Joyner (Mike Miner), Jessica Edmonds (Randy); sisters, Becky Strickland (Steve), Jenny Porter (Eddie); grandchildren, Katherine Joyner, Allie Joyner, Clay Joyner, Jacey Edmonds, Kinley Edmonds; nieces and nephews, Zach Strickland, Ashley Tumblin, Breanna Cannon, Justin Porter; and 3 great nieces and nephews.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Ray Collins.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:30 am, Friday, June 19th, 2026, at Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Chauga Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Sandifer Funeral Home.
