KAY HOLBROOKS
Westminster – Julia Kay Watts Holbrooks, 68, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 16, 1957, in Clayton, Georgia, Kay was the daughter of the late Hoyt Reuben Watts and Annie Lee Jones Watts. Kay retired from Kendall after dedicating 15 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed playing card games, especially Phase 10. Kay was known for her wonderful sense of humor and her ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her. She was a devoted Clemson Tiger Football fan and enjoyed cheering them on every season.
Kay is survived by her sisters, Linda O’Kelley, Vickie Robertson (Dale), Angie Sherill (Keith); brothers, Don Watts, Thomas Watts (Cindy), Billy Watts (Karen), Bobby Watts (Sherry); numerous nieces and nephews; and her great nephews whom she referred to as her babies, Blake Marcengill and Brandon Marcengill.
In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by her sisters, Patsy Isbell, June Watts; brothers, Hoyt Watts, Doyle Watts; and step-father, Johnny Lee Watts.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 pm, Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, prior to the service.
