Johnny Taylor

Seneca – Johnny Stephen Taylor, II, 85, loving husband of the late Judy Federlin Becker Taylor, passed away Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Born October 24th, 1939, in Seneca, South Carolina, and he was the son of the late John Stephen Taylor, I and Sylvia Shuler Taylor. Johnny was a United States Army Veteran, was retired from Phillips Petroleum as a machinist after 32 years of service, worked for the Clemson Area Transit as a Cat Bus driver and was the co-owner of Taylor Family Finds and Treasures. Johnny served as a former Deacon and member of Seneca Baptist Church.

 

Johnny is survived by his daughters, Elaine Taylor of Easley, SC, Tammy Taylor (Susan) of Baltimore, MD; son, John Taylor, III of Seneca, SC; sister, Betty Spencer of Seneca, South Carolina; nieces, Mandy Graham (Jamey) and Deb Moneypenny (Mike); and three fur babies, Eliot, Sophie and Ella.

 

Johnny is preceded in death his parents, his wife, and sister, Dorothy Durham and her husband Frank.

 

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm prior to the service, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
