John “JC” Carroll
Westminster – John “JC” Clifton Carroll, 81, of 120 Bruce Road, husband of Andrea Faye Dorr Carroll, passed away May 17th, 2020 at his residence.
Born in Oakway, he was the son of the late John Henry and Genevieve Simpson Carroll. JC retired as an electrical maintenance technician with Duke Power, he then worked at J.P. Stevens and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. JC was a US Navy veteran, enjoyed serving at Dot’s Kitchen, spending time with his family, telling stories and sharing “Dad” jokes, and playing Santa Claus.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Andrea Faye Dorr Carroll of 57 years of marriage, include son, Mark Milton Carroll and wife Donna of Seneca; daughter, Millicent Marie Carroll Pollock and husband Larry of Starr, Idaho; brother, Adger B. Carroll and wife Faye of Florence; nephews, Aubrey Carroll and Johnny Lemmons; granddaughter, Ashley Carroll.
JC is proceeded in death by sisters, Sabra Lemmons, Mary Ellen Carroll, and one infant sister, Jenny Lou Carroll; brother, Howard Carroll; granddaughter, Abigail Carroll.
A graveside service will be held 11 am, Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
