James Kelvin Duncan
James Kelvin Duncan, 72, of Seneca, passed away at his home on Friday, April 3, 2026, with his beloved dog, Isabelle, by his side.
He was born on February 2, 1954, to the late James E. Duncan and Bobbie Jean Dickson Duncan. Kelvin was a true jack of all trades and a natural tinkerer. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their rodeo and sporting events. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman and regularly attended Souls Harbor Baptist Church.
Mr. Duncan is survived by his son, Brandon Duncan (Crystal) of Westminster; grandchildren, Kassidy Duncan and Cole Duncan, both of Seneca; and great-grandchildren, Kaden Price and Shaley Sexton. He is also survived by his sisters, Loretta Price of Taylors, Dawn Bowen (Johnny) of Seneca, and Rachael English (Dan) of Seneca; nieces, Dawana Emerson (Justin) of Easley, Kelsey Bowen of Seneca, and Laura Dawn Burrafato (Aaron) of Cardinal, VA; and nephews, Kyle Price of Taylors, Andy Bowen (Ashley) of Seneca, Braden Bowen of Seneca, Ben Morehead of Seneca, and Daniel English of Long Branch, New Jersey.
In addition to his parents, Kelvin was preceded in death by two nieces, Crystal Price of Taylors and Avery Bowen of Seneca.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home, with burial to follow at First Baptist Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1-2pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family is at the home of the sister, Dawn Bowen.
