Has Oconee missed the boat?

A listener this week posed the question of what happened to the idea that a study might be the tonic to ease traffic concerns on 123, the Seneca-Clemson corridor.  To find out, 101.7/WGOG NEWS jogged the memory of Paul Cain who, while a member of the county council, touted the kinds of job opportunities, the lack of which he believes leads to large volumes of traffic leaving the county each week day for work in Clemson, Greenville, and other locations.  “Proper planning will help alleviate some traffic”, Cain told us.  More of what the former councilman says about this is being aired today over 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
