Harold Prescott Seale Jr.
Salem, SC— Harold Prescott Seale, Jr., 93, husband of Sarah Gillespie Seale, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at his home.
Harold (Pep) was a loving husband, father, and friend to many. He served in the Army for two years and was a graduate of Hofstra University. He was an avid sportsman, sailor, scuba diver, private pilot, and always enjoyed being near water. He had many hobbies, including making articles of stained glass, carpentry, and needlework. During his career as a computer scientist, the family had the opportunity to live overseas several times. Following his retirement, he and Sarah relocated to Keowee Key, SC, from where they continued to enjoy many travel adventures. They were married for over 66 years.
Born to the late Harold P. and Helen Mallard Seale, Mr. Seale is survived by his son: Stephen Gillespie of Radford, VA; daughter: Leslie Seale Black (Timothy) of Secaucus, NJ; grandchildren: James Prescott Black (Mackenzie), William Gillespie Black, and Makayla Leilani Seale; and great-grandchildren: Vernon Prescott Black.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Seale was preceded in death by a sister: Priscilla Seale Johnson.
The family is at their respective homes.
