Grant approved for Westminster

A $5 thousand grant will allow Westminster to buy new chainsaws and pole saws to help in storm response, recovery, and public safety operations.  The money comes from the Hometown Emergency Resilience Operations (HERO) program of the Duke Energy Foundation.  The Oconee municipality was one of 38 South Carolina organizations selected through a competitive bid process.
