Further measure to protect against accidents

Oconee Sheriff Mike Crenshaw believes it would not be a bad idea after all if health care provider Prisma Oconee Memorial Hospital implemented an app or some other kind of technological device to alert motorists to an oncoming ambulance. The call for such a protective device was aired last week when Seneca businesswoman Pearlee Lee spoke to her city council. And this week Sheriff Crenshaw announced that his office has contracted with a private company to offer a free app that will alert the motoring public to high-speed police chase in progress. Lee requested the city council look for a technology that could trigger a caution light to alert Miracle Circle and Applewood Shopping Center area motorists of an oncoming ambulance from the nearby hospital.
