Furman/Citadel take to the field Saturday

Furman and The Citadel will renew the Southern Conference’s oldest and most-contested football series this Saturday when the arch-rivals square off in a 1:30 PM clash at Paladin Stadium in Greenville, highlighting homecoming weekend at Furman University. The contest will mark the 95th meeting between the 3-3 Paladins and 4-2 Bulldogs since the Palmetto State schools first met in 1913. Coverage on WGOG and Furman IMG Sports Network begins with the Tailgate Show at 12:30 PM Saturday.
