FRANK S. DE LORENZO

Seneca, SC—Frank S. De Lorenzo, 84, husband of Barbara Lamphear De Lorenzo for 64 years, of Seneca, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Brookstone Terrace at Chanticlear in Greenville, SC.

 

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. De Lorenzo was the son of the late Frank C. and Ann Krug De Lorenzo. He retired from the Suffolk County Police Department in Long Island, NY, where he was named Policeman of the Year in 1984. During his retirement, Mr. De Lorenzo worked for Kroeger Marine and loved collecting and working on classic cars. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Seneca.

 

In addition to his wife, Mr. De Lorenzo is survived by his son: Frank J. De Lorenzo (Margaret); and grandchildren: Frank R. De Lorenzo and Victoria De Lorenzo.

 

Mr. De Lorenzo was preceded in death by his beloved dog: Sammy.

 

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Davenport Funeral Home.

 

Funeral Mass and inurnment will follow at 11:00 AM, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
