Frances Ruth Dalton Robinson
West Union- Frances Ruth Dalton Robinson, 88, of Foothills Assisted Living in West Union, wife of the late Arvel James Robinson passed away February 2, 2018.
Born in Easley South Carolina to the late Earl Russell Dalton Sr. and Bertha King Dalton. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker and retired bookkeeper for the family welding shop and was a member of Coneross Baptist Church.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by two sons, Marvin Dover of Walhalla and Russell Robinson (Tonya) of Honea Path; daughter Donita Hogsed (Keith) of Winder, GA; step-daughters Martha Wilbanks (Donnie) of Walhalla and Mary Shedd of Townville. Mrs. Robinson is also survived by two brothers, Ronnie Dalton and Jack Dalton of Williamston SC; grandchildren Katie Hogsed, Jessica Hogsed, Pam Porter, Thomas Wilbanks, Julia Turcot, Ginger Kimball, Giles Brooks, and Joshua Brooks, 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Monday, February 5th, 2018 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 pm Sunday, February 4th, 2018 at the funeral home and 1-2 pm Monday, February 5th, 2018, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
