Football game suspended due to COVID outbreak

Seneca High School’s athletic director Andy Bay said that the game scheduled for October 9th against Belton Honea Path has been suspended until the final Friday of the month.

The reason is due to a COVID-19 outbreak at BHP, which has rendered the football team there unable to practice or play.

Bay said he has reached out to other teams in the area to see if they could play against someone else next Friday, but at this time, he said that no other schools have responded to the request.

The Seneca vs BHP game is now set to be played at Seneca on October 30th.
