FLORA SUE FRANKS CRITTENDON

Walhalla, SC — Flora Sue Franks Crittendon, 85, wife of the late Kenneth Allen Crittendon, of Walhalla, SC, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

A native of Seneca, SC, Mrs. Crittendon was the daughter of the late Thomas Alfred Franks and Mattie Lou Watkins Franks. She formerly worked in healthcare and was a member of Clearmont Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Crittendon is survived by her son: Brian Crittendon (Nancy) of Walhalla, SC; brothers: Dan Franks, J.W. Franks, and Floyd Franks; sisters: Ann Allen and Martha Turnbaugh; grandchildren: Leigh Billingsley (Wesley) of Clayton, GA and Amy Greene (Earl) of Clemson, SC; great-granddaughter: Ivy Billingsley; sister-in-law: Shirley Chapman; and special friend: Sonja Collins.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Crittendon was preceded in death by brothers: Herman Franks, Bobby Franks, Mikey Franks, and Pat Franks; and sisters: Betty Kytle and Deborah Kast.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel.

 

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM, Wednesday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
