Flags at Half-Staff Monday

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster orders that the flags on all state buildings be flown at half-staff from sunup to sundown on Monday, April 30, 2018, in tribute to Deputy James L. Kirk, Jr. of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, who died in the line of duty. Governor McMaster requests that flags over buildings of the political subdivisions of the state similarly be flown at half-staff for this purpose.
