“feel like the Justice Department is being weaponized”

The head of South Carolina’s legal department has told 101.7/WGOG NEWS that he and a handful of other state attorney’s general across the country believe the U-S Justice Department is being “weaponized” in the squabble of whether former President Donald Trump was in thew wrong to possess at his Mar-a-Lago Florida home secret government documents.  Moments before South Carolina’s Alan Wilson took to the lectern to address a crowd of fellow Republicans at a Lake Keowee event center, 101.7/WGOG NEWS spoke with Wilson about the “friend-of-the-court” brief that he and his counterparts in Texas, Florida, Indiana and other states–an amicus brief designed to tell judges what’s considered additional, relevant information.  Wilson’s comments are airing on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
