Eyvonne Cobb James

 

Seneca, SC — Eyvonne Cobb James, 62, of Seneca, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

A native of Oconee County, Ms. James was the daughter of Charles Cobb (Pat) and the late Ellen Marie Bennett Cobb Cannon. She was previously employed by BMW and a member of Fairview Church of God. Ms. James lived life to the fullest, always having a smile on her face. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, camping, going to the beach, and line dancing.

 

In addition to her father and step-mother, Ms. James is survived by her daughter: Crystal Matheson (Kenny) of West Union; and grandchildren: Sophie Matheson, Averie Matheson, and Gage Matheson.

 

In addition to her mother, Ms. James was preceded in death by her grandmother: Rachel Bennett; step-father: Bill Cannon; and step-sister: Debbie Dunson.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.
