Free Boating Courses

Golden Corner Lakes is offering free boating courses where you will
learn about types of boats and their uses, State and local regulations,
safety equipment, communications, how to handle emergencies, anchoring,
trailering, navigation rules and aids, jet ski operation, knot tying and
much more.   There is no cost for the course other than $35 for a manual
which can be shared with family members.  The classes are to be held in
person at:

St. Mark United Methodist Church, 616 Quincy Road in Seneca:  three
consecutive Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:30 pm  beginning April 22, 29 and
May 6; and September 9, 16 and 23.

At Keowee Key North Marina, Lake View Room, 563 Tall Ship Drive in
Salem, SC, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on either Saturday, May 17 or
Saturday, June 21.
