America’s Boating Course
America’s Boating Club, Golden Corner Lakes, announces America’s Boating Course. Learn about state and local regulations, safety equipment, how to handle emergencies, anchoring, trailering, navigation rules and aids, personal watercraft operations, knot tying, and much more. The classes last for 5 Tuesdays each, from 6:30-8:30 pm.
February 22, March 1, 8, and 15 with the exam on the 22nd.
April 12, 19th, 26th, May 3, and exam on May 10th.
September 13th, 20th, and 27th, and October 4th with the exam on the 11th.
There is no cost for the classes, other than $35 for a manual, which can be shared by other family members, and supplies. Pre-registration is requested at least 2 weeks in advance. To sign up call Ron Osburne at 864-972-2434.
