Evelyn Maney
Evelyn Wilson Maney, 88, formally of Seneca, and the wife of the late Miles Perry Maney, passed away Thursday, September 17th, 2020 at Seneca Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Evelyn was born and raised in Franklin, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Proctor Wilson. Evelyn was a seamstress at JP Stevens and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church and is the last surviving member of her family.
Evelyn is survived by her sons, Perry Miles Maney Jr. of Pendleton, Rev. Charles Leon Maney of Virginia, John Michael Neil Maney of Anderson; daughter, Wanda Sue Templeton of Indiana; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Miles Perry Maney; daughters, Martha Sue Maney, Linda Kay Maney Teague and a great grandchild, Billy Michael Miles Barnes.
A funeral service will be held 1 pm, Saturday, September 20th, 2020 at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 165 Robins Rest Loop, Hayesville, North Carolina. A visitation will be Saturday, September 20th, 2020 from 12 -1pm at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the service.
