Ella Honea

Fair Play- Ella Frances King Carr Timmons Honea, wife of Ryan Honea, passed away on December 1, 2025, at Pruitt Health Pickens, surrounded by her loving family.

Ella was born on December 18, 1935, in Pike County, Alabama, and was the daughter of the late B.F. King and Bobbie Brooks King. Ella was a hairstylist for many years, beginning her career in Atlanta, Georgia, and later owning and operating her beauty shop, Honea Comb, in Fair Play, South Carolina. She was a proud member of the Eastern Star and had a great passion for all of the animals on her hobby farm, caring for them with devotion.

Ella is survived by her husband, Ryan Honea; her sons, Tim Honea (Renee) and Phillip Honea (Becky Rollins); her daughter, Deborah Carr; five cherished grandchildren Ashley, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Jessica, and Megan; and seven beloved great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Thomas Carr, and her second husband, M.T. Timmons.

Per Ella’s wishes, a private family service will be held.
