ELEANOR ALVARADO

Walhalla – Eleanor Louise Cooke Alvarado, 81, wife of the late Frank Alvarado, passed away on, Wednesday, November 20^th, 2024 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

Born on March 11^th, 1943, in Liberty, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Ferrell Cooke and Tisha Lusk Cooke.  Eleanor was employed at Foothills Assisted Living and was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church. 

 

Eleanor is survived by her son, Gene Alvarado of Walhalla, South Carolina; one grandchild, Ben Alvarado and his wife Marly, who was like a granddaughter; two great grandchildren, Silas F. Alvarado, Madigan L. Alvarado.   

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor is preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Cooke, Alta White, Mickey Shedd, and Faye Stepp.

 

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, November 25^th, 2024 at Flat Shoals Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Flat Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Monday, November 25^th, 2024 at Flat Shoals Baptist Church prior to the service.
