Duncan opens energy subcommittee hearing

The chairwoman of the 118th Congress’s House and Energy Committee, Rep. Cathy Rodgers, is someone with whom South Carolina’s Jeff Duncan says he looks forward to working with.  Rodgers held her first hearing to the committee chair.  Duncan, Laurens Republican, praised Washington State Republican Rodgers as a “champion of all forms of American energy.”  Duncan chairs the subcommittee on Energy, Climate, Grid Security.  In his remarks today, Duncan said China is building “coal-fired power plants, fossil fuel generation, mining rare Earths that they need for all for the technology which, he says, is very detrimental to the environment.
