Duncan: Biden harms U-S energy production

South Carolina’s 3rd District representative, Jeff Duncan, and a few of his Republican House colleagues believe Democrat Joe Biden made a reckless decision on his first day in office by rescinding a permit for the Keystone XL pipeline project.  The latest is that Canada has failed to persuade the new U-S president to restore the permit.  Duncan co-chairs a group that promotes Republican energy policies.  In a statement, he said, “He (Biden) continues to undermine U-S jobs, competitiveness, and the security of both the U.S. and our allies all to appease the radical environmental left.”  According to the Associated Press, Biden canceled the pipeline’s border-crossing permit over concerns that burning oil sands crude could make climate change worse and harder to counteract.
