Dual set up at Oconee disaster recovery center

For the benefit of Oconee Hurricane Helene victims, representatives of two federal agencies are in place this week at the county’s designated disaster recovery center.  The two agencies are FEMA — the Federal Emergency Management Agency — and the SBA — the Small Business Administration.  FEMA offers grants to Helene’s victims, while the SBA offers loans to impacted businesses and homeowners.  Public affairs specialist Steven Clark of the SBA explains, in an interview airing on 101.7/WGOG NEWS, where Oconeeans may go for help by going to the Bountyland Education Center.
