Driver Charged with Felony DUI and Drug Possession Following Fatal Oconee County Crash

The South Carolina Highway Patrol charged Craig Warren with felony DUI involving death and six counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine following a collision on November 15, 2025. The crash occurred at the intersection of US 76/Long Creek Highway and Coffee Road, resulting in the death of 68-year-old Westminster resident David Lewis Dickson, who later succumbed to his injuries at Oconee Memorial Hospital. Warren was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center following the fatal incident.
