Donnie “Don” Ray Richardson, Sr.
Anderson – Donnie “Don” Ray Richardson, SR, 67, husband of Wanda Price Richardson, passed away Tuesday, June 09, 2020 at An-Med Health Medical Center.
Don was born in Oconee County, to the late Ernest and Ruby Patterson Richardson. Don was a retired Staff Sargent with the National Guard Clemson Post and also a self-employed mechanic, who loved fishing, and attended Earles Grove Baptist Church when he was younger.
Surviving in addition to his beloved wife, Wanda Price Richardson of 46 years, includes sons; Donnie Richardson, Jr (Dorian) of New Smyrna, Florida, Michael Richardson
(Kim) of Westminster, Joey Richardson (Misty Biggs) of Anderson; brothers, Wallace Richardson, Wayne Richardson; sisters, Shirley Ann Keaton, Patsy Lynch; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his brothers, Phil Richardson, Doug “Sonny” Richardson, Stevie Richardson; and a sister, Mary Lou Foster.
A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 14th, 2020 at Oconee Memorial Park with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. A visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:30 pm, Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
