Donnie Alexander

Westminster – Claude Donnie Alexander, 71, husband of the late Margarette Ann McIntyre Alexander, passed away Saturday, January 21^st, 2023 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.  

 

Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Claude Arthur Alexander and Verleen Hix Alexander. Donnie was a heavy machine operator where he had worked with many contractors, and last with Strange Brothers Construction

 

Donnie is survived a brother, Sammy Alexander (Elizabeth) of Westminster; and two sisters, Susan Ramey (Larry) of Westminster and Kathy McGuffin (Wayne) of Seneca; and host of family and friends who loved him dearly.

 

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother, Tony Alexander.

 

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28^th, 2023, at 2:00 pm Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with a burial to follow at the Alexander Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends prior to the service, Saturday, January 28^th, 2023, 1:00 pm -2:00 pm, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
