Donna Michelle Hunnicutt

Walhalla, SC — Donna Michelle Hunnicutt, 49, of 120 Autumnwood Lane, Apt. 27, Walhalla, passed away Tuesday, October 13th at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Oconee County, Miss Hunnicutt was the daughter of Brenda James Hunnicutt and the late Lloyd Sherman (Bud) Hunnicutt. She was her Moms “baby girl” and loved her Mom dearly. Donna never lost her true spirit even with her struggles of an illness that she fought for 17 years. Her personal strength was amazing, she never let her disability affect her friendship, love and kindness she gave to others. She was also a fan of the Clemson Tigers and loved watching the games that were televised. She will be greatly missed by all that was fortunate enough to know her including her dog Chloe.

Donna is also survived by two nephews: William Garrett Hunnicutt and Benjamin Turner Hunnicutt.

She is also survived by two special people in her life, one being her nurse, Jane Miller and her husband Wendell. Donna loved her nurse from day one and if you ever asked her a question, she would respond with, “let me ask Jane”. She would count down the days each week of when her nurse would return.

Most of all, Donna loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She and Jane had bible study every week and often shared her lessons.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Gene Hunnicutt and Tony Hunnicutt; and sister: Joni Addis.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
