Donna Hogan

Walhalla, SC — Donna Sue Hogan, 67, of Walhalla, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February

25, 2026, at Lila Doyle Post Acute.

 

A lifelong resident of Oconee County, Donna was the daughter of the late Tilford E. Hogan and Margaret Gibson Hogan. She retired from the School District of Oconee County, where her love for children and caring heart touched many lives.

 

Donna lived with laughter and an open heart. She was rarely still for long — rain or snow would not keep her from a drive. She found her joy at the river, spending time with friends, sharing stories, and making memories. She loved to laugh, to talk, and truly never met a stranger. If you met her once, you

remembered her.

 

Her greatest joy was her family. She loved deeply and without hesitation. Her sons and grandchildren

were the light of her life.

 

She is survived by her sons: Jon Hogan and Devon (Kayla) Phillips; her brothers: Randall (Sandra)

Hogan, Jeffrey (Angela) Hogan, and Edward Hogan; her sister: Angela (Russell) Hartberger; and her

grandchildren: Kara Lee, Breanna Phillips, and Brendan Phillips.

 

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the laughter she gave us, the love she shared so freely, and the countless memories that will forever keep her close.
