Donald Duffy
Townville- Donald Raymond Duffy, 79, husband of Janet Gordie Duffy, 4492 Pine Grove Road, passed away January 2, 2019, at his residence.
Born in West Monroe, LA, he was the son of the late John E. Duffy and Dorothy Hatten Duffy. Mr. Duffy worked as a production superintendent for 30 years at Bowater in Catawba, SC and then retired from Great Northern Paper in Millinocket, ME and was a member of Earles Grove Baptist Church
Mr. Duffy is survived by his wife Janet Gordie Duffy; sons; David Joel Duffy and wife Michele of Pleasant Plain, OH, John Eric Duffy and wife Dayna of Dalton, GA; daughters, Jana Lynn Duffy Tinker and husband Keith of Rock Hill, SC, Jennifer Duffy Hagen and husband Frank of Seneca, SC; brother, Dick Duffy and wife Andrea of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Diane Holland of St. Augustine, FL; twelve grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Earles Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 2:30 – 3:30 pm.
